I know that I am not caught up with the social media world nor the digital world. The free time I had back in the day (when I was in college) is no longer the same. I don't have the time to find all my friends, to learn a new social website or to create another profile.
This also creates more frustration when the sites I'm currently working on keeps updating and I have to "RELEARN" it all! Boy does it make me feel old! The latest frustration I have is with Facebook. I am holding a fundraiser for my Speech and Debate team. Naturally, I would put the event up on Facebook. Two weeks ago I found out that they took away the option of sending a message to your guests! This means that I cannot update them on what's going on and I can't remind them to show up to the fundraiser! WHAT THE HECK!
Of course, I tried other options to get the word out, but I haven't found one that would quite do what that nifty button did back in day. I'm now left with either saying "I can't" or "How can I?"
