Getting Started and Then Some

I know that I haven't written anything in a while and I have to admit that writing a "blog" entry was on my list for a long time but I never got to it. As each week passed by, I realized that it was bugging me and bugging me and bugging me.

Then I realized that this happens a lot. If it don't do something that is on my list, and it's on my list week after week after week, it starts to bug me. Then it consumes my brain, and next you thing I know, this is all I think about. At that point, I don't have the capacity to do anything else. I would say that I'm not the only one that has trouble doing everything on their list, prioritizing their list and having it nag you. Although I've heard of many ways of how to get through it, the only one that seems to work is really to just do it.

Hence, I'm now taking on writing all of my ideas down so I don't have to worry about remembering them and then scheduling a time to work on it. I make sure I do one thing at a time and finish it before I move to something else. Because once I complete the daunting simple task, I can then see the next thing that's suppose to come my way. And maybe that's what I need to be reminded of, that there will be something greater on the other side.

I hope this new context helps you in your week on fulfilling those daunting tasks that's been on your lists this year!

One thing I find effective is to make a small list of goals for the day. Take it it bits instead of the big picture, and you'll be productive!
