In case you run into a Termite problem

I've been meaning to do this for a while, but haven't. And now here it is. Earlier last year, the home I've been living in for 10 years had a little pest problem - TERMITES! Boy was I freaking out! I first noticed these bugs flying in the skylight of my bathroom and I was like what the heck is that. My mom wanted to know if they were termites but quickly concluded that it wasn't because her friend said so. But I looked up some pictures of what termites would look like on google, and that just made my "freaking out" worse. At that point, I started to share with friends and they said it was easy to deal with. Quickly the next day, I had set up 2 appointments for quotes on how to deal with the problem. One with Orkin and the other was a local company that my friend had used, Kilter. Orkin did not help whatsoever. It was very much like a business transaction, they weren't going to guarantee all the termites to be gone unless we exterminated the house and left for three days. (An option my mom didn't want) Kilter on the other hand was awesome! He, Bill the owner, explained everything to me, told me that the termites are swarming and they've been around for about 7 years. Of course I quickly assumed that the structure of my house was threatened but he assured me that it was not. They're also working with a product that does not require us to move from our home. Very green of them. The whole process took less than an hour to do and bam! The termites were dead within a couple weeks. On top of that, I saw some new presence of termites, I called them, they came by to do the treatment again - for free. It was a 2 year warranty that promised the termites would be gone.
